Diablo2 Multisave "Add-on"

General description:

This is a small program written in Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 that will perform multisaves during the game.It is working on the background checking for changes on the diablo2 savegame directory. If such a case is detected then the files are copied to the diablo2 multisave directory. The check for updated files is performed every X seconds where X is specified from the user (max 999 sec). Please note that in a case of very small refresh time might result a big number of saved games.

Installation:

Download either the full setup (approximatly 1.6Mb) or the executable version (approximatly 62kb). Depending on the version follow the appropriate istractions:

A. FULL SETUP

Unzip the file using a program like winzip to a directory and execute the setup.exe. Follow the on screen instractions. After the succesfull instalation a program file menu and icon have been added. Click on the Diablo2MultiSave to run the "add-on".

B. SINGLE FILE

Unzip the file using a program like winzip to a directory and execute the Diablo2MultiSave.exe to run the "add-on".

Configuration

After the first time that the program is executed the configuration must take place. Click on Options->Set Options and specify the diablo saved directory and a custom directory for the multi saves (if the directory does not exist the user can create one). After that set the refresh time in which the "Add-On" will check the directory for any saved data.

Running the program

By selecting the run menu and then start the program will be minimized on the tray and you can run Diablo2.

Loading a save game

To load a save game choose file->load and select the directory with the appropriate game. The name of the directory is created as following:

NameOfCharacter-dd-mm-yyyy-hh-mm-ss

After that the game should be loaded from the main interface of the Diablo2 game.
